Editing and approving replies

Every AI draft goes through you before it's posted. Edit inline, regenerate, or write from scratch — nothing hits Google without your approval.

The review reply flow

When you open a review in your Ominvo dashboard:

  1. The AI-generated draft appears in the reply editor below the review
  2. Read it — if it looks right, click "Copy reply" and paste it into Google Business Profile
  3. If it needs tweaks, edit it directly in the text box
  4. If the draft is off, click "Regenerate" to get a fresh one
  5. If you'd rather write it yourself, clear the box and type

Nothing is posted automatically. "Copy reply" just copies to clipboard. One-click direct posting to Google is in progress pending API approval.

Editing the draft

The reply box is a plain textarea — edit it like any text field. Your changes don't feed back into future drafts; each regeneration starts from the original review + your account-level settings, not your prior edits.

If you find yourself making the same edit every time (adding a phrase, changing how you sign off, removing something the model keeps including), that's a sign the fix belongs in your custom instructions, not your fingers.

Regenerating

The "Regenerate" button re-runs the same prompt with a fresh call to Claude. Because Claude is a probabilistic model, you'll get a meaningfully different reply — not just the same text reshuffled. Regeneration is useful when:

  • The draft missed the point of the review entirely
  • The tone is wrong for this particular review
  • You want a shorter or longer version

There's no limit on regeneration for Chad or GigaChad accounts.

Marking as replied

Once you've pasted the reply into Google and submitted it, click "Mark as replied" in Ominvo. This moves the review to the "Replied" tab so it doesn't stay in your pending queue. Ominvo doesn't have live read access to your Google Business Profile replies (pending API approval), so it can't confirm automatically — you mark it yourself.

If you skip this step, the review stays in your pending queue. There's no penalty; it's just for your own organization.

Skipping a review

Some reviews don't need a response — a 5-star with no text, for example, or a spam review you're in the process of flagging. Click "Skip" to move it out of the pending queue without replying. You can bring it back from the "Skipped" tab later if you change your mind.

Bulk actions (GigaChad)

GigaChad accounts get a bulk action bar when multiple reviews are selected. Current bulk actions:

  • Mark all as replied — for when you've done a batch in Google and want to clear the queue
  • Skip all — for clearing a batch of no-text 5-stars or obvious spam

Bulk regenerate and bulk post (when one-click posting is live) are on the roadmap.

Reply history

Every reply you copy (and every one marked as replied) is logged in your reply history with the review text, your final reply, the timestamp, and whether it was AI-drafted or written manually. This is available under Reviews → History.
