How upgrading works

Upgrades happen instantly. The moment you complete checkout, the new tier's features unlock — AI reply drafts, one-click posting, and everything else that comes with Chad or GigaChad. There's no waiting period and no support ticket required.

Billing is handled by Stripe. You're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period, then the full new rate on your next renewal date.

Where to upgrade from

There are two paths, both end at the same Stripe checkout:

  1. From the pricing page — go to pricing, pick the tier you want, click "Upgrade." If you're signed in, it skips the account step.
  2. From your account settings — open the Billing section, click "Change plan," select the new tier.

Either path drops you into Stripe's hosted checkout. You confirm the card (or add a new one), confirm the new amount, and submit. You're back in Ominvo within seconds with the new tier active.

What proration actually means

Say you're on Chad ($30/month) and it's day 15 of a 30-day billing period when you upgrade to GigaChad ($99/month).

You've used about half your Chad month, so Stripe credits you back roughly $15. You're charged the prorated GigaChad rate for the remaining half-month, which is about $49.50. Net charge today is around $34.50. On your next renewal date, you're billed the full $99 and continue from there.

You don't have to do any of this math. Stripe shows you the exact amount before you confirm.

What unlocks immediately

The moment your upgrade goes through:

  • AI reply drafts start generating for any new reviews (Chad and up)
  • One-click posting becomes available (pending Google Business Profile API approval)
  • Email alerts for new reviews turn on (Chad and up)
  • Multi-location support and team accounts activate (GigaChad only)

Past reviews don't get drafted automatically on upgrade — that would burn through tokens for content you've already handled. New reviews from the moment of upgrade forward get the full AI treatment.

Founding pricing is locked

If you signed up before launch at the founding rate, your price doesn't change when you upgrade tiers — it just moves to the founding rate for the new tier. You stay grandfathered as long as your subscription stays active without cancellation.
