FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Ominvo — pricing, Google connection, AI replies, launch, and security.

Pricing & billing

How much does Ominvo cost?
Three tiers. Noob is free forever — 5 AI replies per month and basic review alerts. Chad is $30/month, or $24/month when billed annually (saves $72/year) — unlimited AI replies, instant alerts, full analytics dashboard. GigaChad is $99/month, or $79/month annually (saves $240/year) — adds smart filters, competitor tracking, review generation, and team invites. Full breakdown on the pricing page.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Noob is free forever, no credit card required. You get 5 AI-drafted replies per month, instant alerts when new reviews come in, and the analytics dashboard. Enough to manage a low-volume listing and see how Ominvo fits your workflow before upgrading.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel any time from your Settings page — no phone calls, no retention friction. You keep access until the end of your billing period, then drop to the free Noob tier. Monthly plans cancel at month-end. Annual plans cancel at the end of the paid year (no partial-year refunds, but you keep what you paid for).
What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Monthly is pay-as-you-go. Annual is billed once upfront — Chad annual is $288/year versus $360 on monthly ($72 saved), GigaChad annual is $948/year versus $1,188 on monthly ($240 saved). Switch any time from Settings.
Do you charge per location?
Ominvo is built for single-location small businesses — one Google Business Profile per account. Multi-location support is on the post-launch roadmap. If you run 2+ locations today, use the notes field on the waitlist form and tell us what you need.
Do you offer refunds?
No prorated refunds on cancellation — you keep access until the end of your paid period. If Ominvo charged in error or a paid feature genuinely didn't work, email support@ominvo.com and it'll be handled case by case.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards via Stripe. No PayPal, no invoicing for individual plans right now.
Does the price go up after I sign up?
Your rate is locked at signup. If pricing changes for new customers later, existing subscriptions keep their original rate.
Is there a setup fee?
No. The listed monthly or annual price is the full cost — no onboarding charge, no setup fee.
What happens if my card payment fails?
Stripe retries automatically over several days, with an email on each attempt. After repeated failures the account drops to the free Noob tier until payment is updated.

Google Business Profile

Do I need a Google Business Profile?
Yes. Ominvo connects to your Google Business Profile (GBP) to pull reviews and post replies. If you don't have one yet, set it up at business.google.com — it's free and takes about 15 minutes. Then connect it during onboarding.
How does Ominvo connect to Google?
Through Google's official OAuth flow. You log in on Google's own login page (we never see your password), approve the permissions Ominvo needs, and you're connected. The same flow Gmail third-party apps use.
What permissions does Ominvo need?
Read access to your reviews and business profile, and write access to post replies you've approved. Nothing else. We can't post photos, change your business hours, or modify anything else on your listing. You can revoke access from your Google account settings at any time.
Will Ominvo change anything on my Google listing?
No. The only thing Ominvo posts is review replies you've approved. We never edit your business hours, photos, description, address, or any other listing details. Read everything else, write replies only.
Can Ominvo post replies automatically?
Not by default. Every AI-drafted reply lands in your dashboard for review — you approve, edit, or discard before it goes live. Auto-post is an opt-in feature on the GigaChad tier with per-rating rules, so you can auto-post 5-star replies and manually review the rest.
What if I manage multiple Google Business Profile locations?
Ominvo is built for single-location businesses right now. Multi-location support isn't available at launch.
Can I disconnect my Google Business Profile later?
Yes, from Settings, any time. Disconnecting stops new reviews from syncing in, but existing data stays in your account.
Does Ominvo see reviews from other platforms like Yelp or Facebook?
No. Google Business Profile only — that's the entire scope of the product today.
What if I don't have a Google Business Profile yet?
You'll need one before Ominvo can connect to anything. Creating one is free, directly through Google.
Will switching my Google Business Profile category or details break the connection?
No — Ominvo reads from your profile, it doesn't lock it. Update your profile on Google's side any time without affecting your Ominvo account.

AI replies

How does the AI write replies?
Each reply is generated by Anthropic's Claude model using the review text, your business name, your industry, and an optional tone profile you set during onboarding. The result is a draft — send as-is, edit, or rewrite. More on the AI Replies feature page.
Do the replies sound robotic?
No. Claude writes in natural, business-appropriate language — not the wooden “Thank you for your kind words!” template you’ve seen from older tools. You set the tone (warm, professional, playful) during onboarding, and you can always edit before sending.
Can Google penalize me for using AI replies?
Google's policy targets content, not source. As long as replies are genuine, non-spammy, and you've reviewed them before posting, there's no penalty. Ominvo never auto-spams identical replies — each draft is unique to that review. This is industry-standard practice now.
Can I train the AI on my voice?
On Chad and GigaChad, yes. Set a tone profile during onboarding or anytime in Settings — describe your brand voice, give example replies you like, set rules (“never apologize for prices,” “always end with the owner’s name”). Future replies match.
How many AI replies do I get?
Noob: 5 per month. Chad and GigaChad: unlimited. Server-side rate limits exist to prevent abuse, but normal small business volume — even 100+ reviews per month — will never come close.
Can I turn off AI replies and write my own from scratch?
Yes. The AI drafts a starting point, but every reply is editable before it's used — nothing posts without you reviewing it first.
What happens if the AI writes something inaccurate or inappropriate?
You review and edit every draft before it goes anywhere — the AI never posts automatically. If a draft is off, edit it or write your own; nothing reaches Google without your approval.
Does the AI see my actual menu, services, or staff names?
Not currently. Replies are generated from the review text and your business type — no uploaded context yet. Personalized context is on the roadmap post-launch.
Do unused AI replies roll over to next month?
No. Reply allowances reset monthly and don't carry over — Noob's 5/month resets on the same cycle each month.
Can I see past replies I've sent?
Yes, every reply you've sent is in your review history on the dashboard, searchable by reviewer or date.

Tiers & upgrades

What's the difference between Chad and GigaChad?
Chad covers everything most single-location businesses need: unlimited AI replies, instant alerts (email + browser push), the full analytics dashboard, and alert preferences. GigaChad adds smart filters (auto-sort by rating, sentiment, urgency), competitor tracking (up to 5 nearby competitors), QR-code review generation, and team invites (up to 3 teammates). Full breakdown on the pricing page.
Can I switch tiers?
Yes, any time, both directions. Upgrade from Settings — billing prorates to the day. Downgrade also from Settings — you keep your current tier until the end of the billing period, then drop to the new one.
Will I outgrow the free plan?
Probably, if you get more than 5 new reviews a month and want every one of them answered. Noob is built as a real long-term option for very-low-volume operators, not as a 14-day trial. When you outgrow it, Chad is the next step.
What happens to my data if I downgrade from GigaChad to Chad?
Nothing is deleted. GigaChad-only features (like Smart Filters or Competitor Tracking) become inaccessible until you upgrade again, but your review history and reply data stay intact.
Is there a trial for Chad or GigaChad?
Not currently — Noob itself functions as an indefinite free trial-equivalent. You can use it as long as you want before deciding to upgrade.
Can I have a team member with a different tier than the account owner?
No. Tier applies at the business level, not per-user. Every team member shares whatever tier the business account is on.
Do you offer annual discounts on Noob?
Noob is free, so there's no billing cycle to discount. Annual pricing only applies to Chad and GigaChad.
What's the actual dollar difference between Chad and GigaChad over a year?
Chad annual is $288/year. GigaChad annual is $948/year. The $660/year gap buys Smart Filters, Competitor Tracking, Review Generation, and team invites.

Launch & access

When does Ominvo launch?
Public launch is August 10, 2026. Beta access opens July 23, 2026 for waitlist members. Join the waitlist to get an invite when beta opens.
Why is there a waitlist?
Two reasons. Google Business Profile API approval lands around July 23, 2026 — until then, the live review-pulling integration is gated by Google. And we want to onboard the first batch of users one-by-one so we can catch issues fast and ship fixes same day. The waitlist sequences that.
I signed up — when do I actually get access?
If you're on the waitlist, expect an invite email between July 23 and August 10. Public access for everyone opens August 10.
Is the waitlist first-come-first-served?
Cohorts are released in batches rather than strict signup order — exact timing depends on capacity at each stage.
Will waitlist members get a discount at launch?
Pricing is the same for everyone at launch — no separate waitlist tier or discount code.
Can I use Ominvo before the official launch date?
Some waitlist members are invited into early access ahead of August 10 — if that applies to you, you'll get an email with instructions.
What happens to my waitlist spot if I don't respond to the invite email right away?
Your spot doesn't expire from a delayed response — reply whenever you're ready to get started.
Is Ominvo available outside the US?
Not at launch. Ominvo is built and priced for US single-location small businesses; international support isn't on the near-term roadmap.

Data & security

Is my data safe?
Yes. All data is stored in Supabase (Postgres) with row-level security — every row is gated by your business ID, so other users physically cannot see your data. Auth uses Supabase SSO with optional Google OAuth, and the database runs in a private, encrypted environment. Full details on the security page.
Do you sell my data?
No, never. Ominvo's revenue is 100% subscription. We don't sell, share, or monetize your review data, customer data, or business information. The privacy policy has the legal version.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You keep it. After cancellation, your account moves to the free Noob tier — your dashboard, history, and reply archive stay intact. If you want a full account deletion (everything wiped), email support@ominvo.com and we'll execute within 7 days.
Are you GDPR / CCPA compliant?
Yes. Ominvo targets US-based small businesses but the platform is built to GDPR and CCPA standards — data access requests, deletion requests, and data export are all honored. Email support@ominvo.com to file any request.
Do you store my Google password?
No. Google authentication happens through Google's own OAuth flow — Ominvo never sees or stores your Google password.
Is my payment information stored on Ominvo's servers?
No. Stripe handles and stores all payment data. Ominvo never has direct access to your card number.
Who at Ominvo can see my review data?
Only the founder, for support and debugging purposes. There's no separate sales or support team with database access at this stage.
Is AI reply content used to train any AI models?
No. Anthropic's API terms (the AI provider Ominvo uses) exclude API data from model training by default.
What happens to my data if Ominvo shuts down?
There's no current plan to shut down, but if that ever changed, customers would get advance notice and an export option before any data deletion.

Support

How do I get help?
Three options. Browse the Help Center — 15 articles across 5 categories cover the most common questions. Email support@ominvo.com — replies within one business day during launch month, faster after. In-app chat is on the post-launch roadmap.
Do you offer phone support?
Not yet. Solo founder, no call center — email gets you a fast, detailed answer from the person who built the product. Phone support comes with later scaling.
What's your typical response time?
No formal SLA at this stage — as a solo-founder operation, expect a personal reply, typically within a business day or two.
Is support different for Noob vs paid tiers?
No. Every tier gets the same support channel and the same founder on the other end.
Can I request a feature?
Yes — the support form and the changelog both exist partly because of user feedback. No guarantee on timeline, but every request gets read.
Do you have a community or forum?
Not yet. Support is currently direct, one-to-one via the support form.
What information should I include when reporting a bug?
What you expected to happen, what actually happened, and what page or action triggered it. Screenshots help a lot.
