Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs what you may and may not do when using Ominvo. It supplements the Terms of Service and applies to all users regardless of subscription tier. Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

2. Permitted Uses

You may use Ominvo to:

• —Monitor and manage genuine customer reviews of your own business
• —Generate AI-drafted reply suggestions for your own business reviews
• —Send review alert notifications to yourself or authorised team members
• —Access analytics and reporting on your own business review data
• —Connect your own verified Google Business Profile via OAuth

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Ominvo to:

• —Generate, post, or facilitate fake, misleading, or incentivised reviews
• —Manage reviews for a business you do not own or have explicit written authority to manage
• —Automate or bulk-post AI-generated replies without human review and approval
• —Scrape, harvest, or export review data for use outside the Ominvo platform
• —Circumvent or attempt to circumvent Google's Terms of Service or API usage policies
• —Harass, threaten, or send unsolicited communications to reviewers
• —Attempt to access another user's account, data, or Google Business Profile
• —Reverse-engineer, copy, resell, or create derivative works from any part of Ominvo
• —Use the AI reply system to generate content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or legally actionable
• —Use Ominvo in any jurisdiction where doing so would violate local law

4. AI-Generated Content

AI reply drafts generated by Ominvo are suggestions only. You are solely responsible for reviewing every AI-generated reply before posting it to any platform. By posting a reply, you confirm that you have read, approved, and take full responsibility for its content. Ominvo accepts no liability for AI-generated content that is posted without adequate human review.

5. Google Platform Compliance

Ominvo connects to Google Business Profile via Google's official OAuth API. You are responsible for ensuring your use of Ominvo remains compliant with Google's Terms of Service, Google Business Profile policies, and any applicable Google API usage policies. Ominvo is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google LLC.

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this policy. If we determine a violation has occurred, we may suspend or permanently terminate your account without notice and without refund. We may also report illegal activity to appropriate authorities. You agree to cooperate with any investigation.

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of another user violating this policy, please report it to support@ominvo.com with the subject line 'AUP Violation Report'. Include as much detail as possible. We review all reports but are not obligated to take action or disclose outcomes.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy at any time. Material changes will be notified via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
