Competitor Tracking

Know where you stand.

Most owners check competitor ratings by pulling up Google Maps every few weeks. You note their star count, compare it to yours, and move on — without knowing whether the gap is closing or holding. Competitor Tracking changes that. Once our Google Business Profile API connection goes live (estimated July 23), you'll see your rating and review velocity side by side with up to 5 named local competitors. Not a fuzzy industry benchmark — your actual neighbors, competing for the same customers on the same street.

GigaChad only · Going live ~July 23

How it works

Set up once. Know forever.

1

Add your competitors

Enter 1–5 competitor business names in Settings. Ominvo finds their Google Business Profile and confirms the match before saving.

2

We pull the data

Once the GBP API goes live (~July 23), Ominvo fetches competitor review counts, star ratings, and velocity automatically. No spreadsheets, no manual lookups.

3

See the gap

Your dashboard shows a side-by-side comparison. If a competitor's rating climbs past yours or their velocity spikes, you get an alert.

What you'll see

Your neighborhood, ranked.

What you get

Every piece of the picture.

Rating snapshot

Your star average and theirs, side by side. No tab-switching between Google Maps listings, no mental arithmetic.

Review velocity

Who's accumulating reviews faster? A competitor gaining 10 reviews a week while you're getting 2 is a warning sign — before the ratings gap appears.

Track up to 5 competitors

Enter competitor business names once during setup. Ominvo locates their Google Business Profile and keeps the comparison current.

Gap alerts

Get notified when a tracked competitor's rating climbs above yours or they jump ahead on review count. No manual checking required.

GigaChad only

Pulling and processing external review data for multiple businesses requires more infrastructure per account. Included on GigaChad ($79/mo annually).

No ongoing work

After the initial setup, Ominvo handles the rest. Every time new reviews land, your comparison updates automatically.

GigaChad only.

Noob and Chad include everything most single-location businesses need to track and respond to their own reviews. Competitor Tracking requires pulling and processing external review data for up to 5 additional businesses — that's the infrastructure cost that moves it to GigaChad. At $79/month on annual ($99/month monthly), it's the tier that makes sense when local rank directly affects your revenue.
